Temporary Change of Hours
During COVID Lockdown, we will be open Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm. No Saturday Clinics currently.
We want to reassure you that we will continue to look after you for your health needs. We have developed procedures to keep you and our staff safe and to stop the community transmission of COVID-19.
In LEVEL 2 we are seeing more patients in person, but the majority of consultations are remote consultations whenever possible. If you have any acute respiratory symptoms, you will need to have a PHONE consultation with your Doctor, and if examination is needed, this will be arranged in a separate area of the clinic.
We will space out appointments and will maintain physical distancing within the practice with at least a 1 metre separation in the waiting room.
Patients with respiratory symptoms will be assessed outside and do not come into the practice.

Peninsula Medical Centre is a Designated Testing Practice for COVID-19 - one of the first in Auckland. This means we can support our patients and the wider community to #UniteAgainstCOVID.
We are lucky to have the facility to offer a drive-thru testing and assessment site, which is completely separate from the GP Clinic and other healthcare providers in the building. There is a COVID Testing lane in the car park, where cars can wait before heading down to the basement carpark to be tested.
Our friendly Testing Team are able to provide testing Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm.
COVID Testing and Assessment is FREE. If you have any of the following symptoms, you can be tested:

If a person has symptoms consistent with the above, they should be considered a suspect case and isolate at home (if mild symptoms) until 48 hours after the symptoms resolve and at least 10 days after symptom onset. Refer to the information sheet here.
