Our Doctors

Dr David Going
(M B, Ch B, Dip Ger Med, FRNZCGP) Principle GP
 

Not taking on new patients currently.

David is the principal GP at Peninsula Medical and is also the owner of the practice. He has considerable experience as a GP having practiced in Te Atatu Peninsula since 1983. He has special interests in family medicine, men’s health, geriatric medicine and the ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialty. David also is the doctor for CHT St Margarets hospital in Te Atatu Peninsula along with Dr Lara Cubison.

Dr Justine Mesui 
(M. B., Ch B., FRNZCGP)

Justine has been with Peninsula Medical for over 10 years and is experienced in General Practice enjoying seeing a wide range of families. In addition to her work at Peninsula Medical Centre, she has worked for some years in school-based clinics and Paediatric Hospitals further developing her special interest in Youth Health.

 

Regular Hours: Mon (pm – late night), Tues (am & pm), Thurs (pm), Fri (am & pm)


Dr Carolynn Moore 
(M.B. Ch.B., Dip. Paediatrics, FRNZCGP)

 

Not taking on new patients currently.

With a Diploma in Paediatrics, Carolynn has many years of GP experience and is skilled in all areas of general practice. She enjoys healthcare for the whole family and has developed a further interest in alcohol and drug rehabilitation.

Dr Richard Busfield

(MB ChB, FRNZCGP)

 

Richard is a very experienced GP having worked for 17 years in General Practice in Auckland. Richard also has extensive experience in all areas of women’s health having worked for some years with one of New Zealand’s top gynaecology Professors. In his cheerful way you will find Richard to be thorough and considerate. He has a great love of sport, in particular football.

Dr Ang Liu
(MB ChB)

 

Dr Ang will be taking over the care of Dr John Zhang's patients on 16 August 2018.

Born in China and raised in New Zealand, Ang is a locally educated doctor who speaks both English and Chinese Mandarin. He is an enthusiastic generalist doctor and has interests in evidence based medicine and minor surgeries. Outside of medicine, Ang enjoys classical music and playing badminton. You will find Ang to be a very good communicator in both languages, enthusiastic and caring.

Dr Lara Cubison 

(MB ChB; Dip. Paediatrics)

 

Dr Lara Cubison is originally from the UK and has trained at the University of Leeds, in England. Lara has completed further training in Emergency Medicine, Palliative Care and Paediatrics. She has a Diploma of Paediatrics. Lara enjoys caring for the whole family. Lara is also the doctor for CHT St Margarets Hospital in Te Atatu along with Dr David Going.

Dr Alita Neria
(MB ChB, FRNZCGP)

 

We are thrilled to have Dr Alita Neria return to Peninsula Medical, she previously practiced here as a GP Registrar. Of Samoan and NZ European descent, Alita has been practicing medicine for over 10 years. She holds BHB, MB ChB from the University of Auckland and is a Fellow of RNZCGP. Alita has special medical interests in Diabetes, Adolescent Health and Older People's Health, and is a visiting GP at local High Schools in West Auckland.
